Delayed Release Date

In closing, we do have some bad news to go along with all of the exciting specs and information we've just shared. 

That being a potential delay in the release date. Multiple outlets believe Samsung will delay the release by over a month. An old report from Bloomberg suggests Samsung may push the release back to April, in an effort to offer more strict safety testing. That has since been confirmed by Samsung themselves. Between a new 8-point battery inspection system and securing all the processors for a global launch, the phone won't be ready until around April 28th.  

Samsung Unpacked for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be March 29th, pre-orders will go live a few weeks later, and it should be available around April 21-28th. It will come in Black, Silver and Gold.
