How to Get Free Call of Duty: WWII Supply Drops

Starting this week you can get free Call of Duty: WWII Supply Drops if you link your Twitch Prime account and your Call of Duty account. Twitch Prime is a paid service, but it is part of Amazon Prime, which means a lot of people already have access to it, even if they don’t know it. Hopefully this will help you get some of the we expect soon.

Starting last week you could score a huge deal on Call of Duty: WWII with Twitch Prime, and beginning later this week you can check in and pick up Zombies camo and two Supply Drops. We expect to see more Supply Drops come monthly in 2018.

Here’s what you need to do to get the Bomb Voyage Nazi Zombies Weapon Camo and the special Winter Siege Supply Drops.

How you can get some free Call of Duty: WWII supply drops.

Sign up for Twitch Prime. If you haven’t already done so you will need to sign up for Twitch Prime. This is part of Amazon Prime, or you can sign up for a free 30 day trial and still get the benefits. Go here to sign up if you aren’t already a member.

Once you sign in you will need to link your Call of Duty account with Twitch. Here’s how to do that.

• Login to your Call of Duty account.
• Click on your profile and then on Linked Accounts.
• Scroll down to Twitch and click Link with Twitch Account.
• Login to Twitch and follow the instructions to link your account.

Once you have your account linked you should be good to get your free Supply Drops starting on Friday.

You may need to login to Twitch to claim them on Friday, but at this point it’s not clear if you will need to take that additional step. The rewards aren’t available until Friday December 8th at 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern. This is the start of a special Winter Siege event where you can play the Carentan map without buying the Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass.

On Friday, you can login to Call of Duty: WWII and go to the mail vendor to claim your free Supply Drops. This is also where your free camo should appear soon after you link your accounts. According to Activision Support, “Subsequent Supply Drops will be delivered to your inbox in the Mail vendor approximately once a month for this promotion, so long as you remain an active Twitch Prime member during the promotion period.”

You need to be a Twitch Prime member throughout the promotion and you need to make sure you login each month to check the Mail vendor for new Supply Drops. Buy if Call of Duty: WWII is Still Your Go to Game

Is Call of Duty: WWII your game? If you are sticking with Call of Duty while half the population jumps to Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG, this is a good investment.  This is still the go to boots on the ground version of Call of Duty, and even with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the way it makes sense to buy the Season Pass if you will play Call of Duty: WWII for most of 2018 and into 2019.  If you think you will buy all of the maps because you loved the first 8 months of Call of Duty: WWII or because you like the direction the game is going with each update, you should buy the Season Pass.  For gamers who are planning to play Call of Duty: WWII for a year, it doesn't make sense to wait and buy the DLC separately or even to skip one or two of them since that will limit the matchmaking as you get split into a smaller and smaller pool.  You save $10 over buying the DLC individually, you get a bonus and you may still need to wait a long time for a deal.
