When to Check for iOS 11.1

If you're really excited about the iOS 11.1 update's changes (and we don't blame you if you're a huge fan of emoji), you probably want to know when iOS 11.1 is coming out. 

Apple hasn't confirmed an official release date, but all signs point to an arrival in the near future with new emojis, Apple Pay Cash, and other changes on board.

Our best guess at this point is a release in and around the November 3rd iPhone X release date. Maybe even today.

The company probably won't announce a release date, or release time, ahead of time, but you can expect it to arrive at a very specific time during the week. 

iOS updates almost always are released in and around 10AM Pacific so there's no reason to check at 8AM Pacific or 10PM Pacific. 

Apple almost never releases iOS updates on Friday's so your best bet is to check for iOS 11.1 around 10AM Pacific Monday-Thursday.
