Another iPhone X-specific feature we're excited about is the ability for parents to approve family purchases using Face ID. Some iPhone X users have been complaining about the fact that they can't use Face ID to approve purchases made by their children. They're able to use Touch ID to approve purchases through iOS' Ask to Buy feature, but it doesn't work with Face ID. That should change with the release of iOS 11.3. iOS 11.3 beta testers are able to approve purchases using the iPhone X's Face ID. A prompt to use Face ID appears once the parent has entered the correct password. Once the password is entered, iOS will ask if it should enable Face ID for future purchases. This should've been enabled from the get-go, but we're excited it's finally coming with iOS 11.3. That is if it survives the beta. | ||||||||||||
