iOS 12.3: 4 Reasons to Get Excited & 3 Reasons Not To
Apple’s iOS 12.3 update won’t be as big as the iOS 12.2 update, but there are still some reasons to get excited about the company’s next milestone upgrade for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
As we push toward WWDC 2019, attention is starting to shift from iOS 12 to iOS 13. Apple’s iOS 13 update will debut during the company’s keynote on June 3rd and we expect Apple to release the first iOS 13 beta soon after. The official release will come later in the year alongside Apple’s new 2019 iPhones.
iOS 13 is certainly exciting, but don’t forget about iOS 12. Apple’s still improving its current operating system and the company is planning to release a new version in the near future.
The iOS 12.3 update is the company’s third milestone upgrade for iOS 12 following the release of iOS 12.1 and iOS 12.2. And assuming the company doesn’t release an iOS 12.2.1 update, it’ll be the next update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models around the world.
If you want to try the iOS 12.3 update right now you can do so via one of Apple’s beta programs. The iOS 12.3 beta is available to those in the developer program and those in free Beta Software Program. The Beta Software Program just requires a working Apple ID.
iOS 12.3’s been making progress and we expect Apple to pull it from beta testing in the near future. And with a release on the horizon, we felt it was appropriate to outline some of the things that have us, and others, excited about Apple’s next version of iOS 12.
We also want to take you through some things that have the potential to disappoint you. This will help you set proper expectations ahead of the update’s release.
