Don't Expect an iPhone 7s Accessory Shortage at Launch

The iPhone 7s design might be slightly different than the iPhone 7's but we don't expect that to render current accessories obsolete. Look for many iPhone 7 cases to work fine with the iPhone 7s.

If this pans out like we think it will we should see a pretty robust selection of iPhone 7s cases and accessories available on day one. This is different than the iPhone 8 accessory ecosystem which will likely take some time to grow. Again, it's expected to feature a new form factor with a 5.8-inch screen.

If you already own an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, you should be able to use your current case. The only exception might be a waterproof case that requires dimensions to be precise in order to prevent liquids from getting in.

If you're upgrading from an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6, don't expect your case to work due to the positioning of the camera.
