There is no way to turn in your discs for a digital version of the game without reselling at a loss and buying the games digitally. In most cases that means you will spend more money upgrading. The rumored upgrade program is not announced, so don't buy this version if you have a big library of physical games that you still want to play. This has been really helpful to know about the facts of the XBOX or else it would have been a mistake if I would have bought it without knowing its problems.
