There are two new macOS Mojave features that are perfect if you need to capture stuff to put on documents or to email on your Mac. 

The new Continuity Camera lets you use your iPhone to take a photo and then it will pop right into the document or email that you are working on. Right now this feature supports Finder, Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. We could see it arrive on other soon. 

Another handy tool is the upgraded screenshot feature in Mojave. You get more control over taking the screenshot, the ability to set a timer and you also get better options for screen recording. It's not a feature for everyone, but for those of us who take a lot of screenshots it's an epic feature.
