Install macOS Mojave for New Mac Apps

Apple finally brings your favorite iPhone apps to the Mac. This allows you to stay on top of things without grabbing your phone. The two most exciting ones are News and Home, but that's not all.

  • Apple News for Mac - Personalized and curated news, plus Siri Suggested stories, channels and topics on your Mac.
  • Stocks for Mac - Check your stocks and the important market news in one app on your Mac.
  • Voice Memos for Mac - Record voice memos right on your Mac and sync them through iCloud to all your devices.
  • Home for Mac - Control your HomeKit devices on the Mac with the new Home App.

The Home app is very useful if you are heavily invested in a smart home. That's a huge reason to install, but you will likely want to turn off notifications. The Apple News app delivers the same content to your Mac and it's a nice addition. If you use Stocks and Voice Memos they will sync to your Mac and back to your phone.
