Microsoft finally adds USB C to the Surface Pro 7, after years of sticking with the Surface Connector. This simplifies charging, lets you connect new accessories and in general is a small, but a very meaningful upgrade. 

You can now easily borrow a charger from someone, and while you may need new cables or adapters for your setup, it is a step in the right direction and there are loads of accessories and adapters available now. 

This isn't good enough on its own, but paired with the performance boosts it is a good upgrade.
