Wait for a New Design & Features

This is the right time for a new MacBook Pro design and it makes sense for Apple to start with smaller bezels for the bigger display. From there we could see a redesign that accommodates the new keyboard. 

Based on the icon and the render found in macOS Catalina, it looks like a very similar overall design, but we could see a dedicated Touch ID button to the side of the Touchbar and a dedicated escape key. 

The MacGeneration discovery in the macOS Catalina beta shows a similar look, but slimmer bezels. The 9to5Mac discovered render in macOS is shows a similar look for the Touchbar and keyboard -- but there is an escape key. 

We're hopeful for new MacBook Pro color options, but if this is positioned as an upper-level Pro device we won't hold our breath for anything too flashy.
