on

The latest Call of Duty: WWII 2XP weekend is live now in Call of Duty: WWII for Xbox One and PS4. The long Double XP weekend runs all the way through Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

This is an excellent reason to spend time playing this weekend so you can use our tips to level up even faster and earn your Call of Duty: WWII prestige. Make sure you are using the best Call of Duty: WWII weapons to get an even bigger edge.

Shortly after this ends, you can expect to see the Call of Duty: WWII 1.06 update with many changes and potentially with new guns. If you unlock a lot of Call of Duty: WWII Supply Drops this weekend you may want to hold onto them until December, unless you like buying Call of Duty Points.

What you need to know about Call of Duty: WWII Double XP during Thanksgiving weekend.

The Thanksgiving Call of Duty: WWII Double XP weekend is live now and it runs through the end of the weekend. It came online at 10 AM Pacific Wednesday and lasts until 10 AM Pacific on Monday, November 27th.

Focus on completing Challenges and keep stocking up on those Challenges and orders. When you are in games make sure you play objectives if you are in Domination or Hardpoint so that you can maximize the XP in each game.

You earn Double XP on your player progression, but this does not effect your Weapon XP earn rate or Division XP earn rates. Players should see a better overall experience playing online during this weekend than on the first weekend of 2XP, but keep in mind that there will be many new players coming online to Call of Duty: WWII due to excellent Black Friday deals.

Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass: 4 Reasons to Buy & 2 to Wait

Buy if Call of Duty: WWII is Still Your Go to Game

Is Call of Duty: WWII your game? If you are sticking with Call of Duty while half the population jumps to Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG, this is a good investment.

This is still the go to boots on the ground version of Call of Duty, and even with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the way it makes sense to buy the Season Pass if you will play Call of Duty: WWII for most of 2018 and into 2019.

If you think you will buy all of the maps because you loved the first 8 months of Call of Duty: WWII or because you like the direction the game is going with each update, you should buy the Season Pass.

For gamers who are planning to play Call of Duty: WWII for a year, it doesn't make sense to wait and buy the DLC separately or even to skip one or two of them since that will limit the matchmaking as you get split into a smaller and smaller pool.

You save $10 over buying the DLC individually, you get a bonus and you may still need to wait a long time for a deal.
