The Mario Kart franchise kicked off a genre of titles that persists to this day. When it launched, it was revolutionary. Players could become one of their favorite characters from across Nintendo’s portfolio. As they raced around themed tracks, they could battle each other for supremacy.
That is very much the point of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Up to 12 players will be able to compete in online matches through their Nintendo Switch consoles. The game gets its Deluxe designation from the amount of content it comes with. It’ll have every track and character from the Wii U version. The game’s Battle Mode is completely revamped. New content from Luigi’s Mansion and Splatoon is included two.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is this spring’s must-have Nintendo Switch exclusive launch. It’ll arrive for everyone on April 28th.
