Don't Wait if You Just Need a TV with AirPlay 2

Before you buy a new Apple TV 4K or wait for the 2020 Apple TV 4K, think about what you want to do with the Apple TV. Do you simply want to watch movies from iTunes and from a few apps like Netflix and Hulu?

If so, you may be better off buying a new Smart TV with AirPlay 2. One of the features we loved on the Vizio M series is the AirPlay 2 support that lets us quickly put an iTunes movie or show up on the Apple TV using AirPlay. Once it's sent, we can control the TV volume and playback using the iPhone, but we can also do everything else we want on our phone while the movie is playing. It's a major reason we are excited about testing the Vizio P Series Quantum X as part of our new TV setup. 

This is a free feature on new Vizio models and on many older Vizio TVs thanks to a free update. You can find AirPlay 2 compatible TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio.
