If you want to give the new emoji characters a try before the official release date, download the Android Pie beta. 

If you love sending emojis to your friends and family, you're going to love Android Pie. Samsung's Android Pie update comes with Unicode 11.0 which means it brings a bunch of new emoji characters to the Galaxy S8's keyboard. 

There are 50+ new emojis and the list includes the softball, llama, lobster, hot face, superhero, and super villain.

One caveat: If your friends and family aren't using Android Pie, they probably won't see the new emojis. They'll likely see weird symbols instead.
