Don't Install If You're Traveling

If you're about to take a trip or if you're currently on a trip, and you get the prompt to install Android Pie on your tablet, you'll probably want to hold off. 

Over the years we've spoken to travelers who wind up with a broken device or busted apps because they installed new software. If you're on an important business trip or traveling in a new place, and your tablet is playing a big role on said trip, this obviously wouldn't be ideal. 

If you're out of your comfort zone, it's probably a good idea to wait to do the Android Pie upgrade until you're back at home.

That could be your hotel, but for many of you that's back at your house or apartment. Android Pie isn't going anywhere so there's no need to rush into an installation if you're heavily dependent on your tablet.
