iOS 17.5 brought Cross-Platform Tracking Detection. You'll get this change with iOS 17.7 if you skipped iOS 17.6.1, iOS 17.6, iOS 17.5.1, and iOS 17.5. The change delivers notifications to users if a compatible Bluetooth tracker they do not own is moving with them. iPhone users now get an “[Item] Found Moving With You” alert on their device if an unknown Bluetooth tracking device is seen moving with them over time, regardless of the platform the device is paired with. If you get an alert on your iPhone, it means someone else’s AirTag, Find My accessory, or other industry specification-compatible Bluetooth tracker is moving with you. Apple worked with Google to implement the functionality and you can learn more about it right here. | ||||||||||||||||
