Install iOS 17.4.1 If You Use Apple Music

iOS 17.4 delivered a change to Apple Music you might find useful. If you missed iOS 17.4, you'll get the change with iOS 17.4.1.

With iOS 17.4.1/iOS 17.4 on board your iPhone, music recognition lets you add songs you have identified to your Apple Music Playlists and Library. They can also be added to Apple Music Classical

If you missed iOS 17.4, iOS 17.3.1 and iOS 17.3, you'll get additional changes.

iOS 17.3 delivered Collaborative Playlists for Apple Music, a feature that was delayed last year.

The feature lets you create a new playlist that people can add to. It's great if you're in need of new music to work to, to workout to, or if you're out of the loop and just want some recommendations from others.

Once you've made the playlist, tap the three dots located in top right of the Music app. Then tap Collaborate and select "Start Collaboration."

From there you can create a link to the playlist to send to anyone you want or you can create a QR code for access. You can add and remove people from the playlist as you see fit.

If you missed missed iOS 17.4, iOS 17.3.1, iOS 17.3, iOS 17.2.1 and iOS 17.2, you'll get additional changes with iOS 17.4.1.

There's a new Favorite Songs Playlist in Apple Music which will let you quickly get back to the songs you mark as favorites.

Use Listening History in Apple Music can also now be disabled in a Focus so music you listen to does not appear in Recently Played or influence your recommendations.

iOS 17.1 also brought useful improvements to the Apple Music app. If you're a heavy Apple Music user, and you missed iOS 17.4, iOS 17.3.1, iOS 17.3, iOS 17.2.1, iOS 17.2, iOS 17.1.2, iOS 17.1.1 and iOS 17.1, think about installing iOS 17.4.1 right now for the following improvements.

Apple highlighted three big changes to Apple Music in iOS 17.1. First, the company has upgraded Favorites and it has expanded to include songs, albums, and playlists. You can also filter to display favorites in your library.

A new cover art collection offers designs that change colors to reflect the music in your playlist, a nice little touch for the UI.

And finally, song suggestions will now appear at the bottom of every playlist which makes it easy to add music that matches your playlists.

I’m having the same problem. Can’t send or receive messages on my IPhone 15 after I downloaded 17.4 update.
