Pre-Order If You Want the Collector's Edition

If you're a huge Borderlands fan and you've got your eyes on GameStop's $250 Diamond Loot Chest Collector's Edition, you might want to pre-order when you can.

For $250 you get the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition (which comes with a ton of bonuses) and you also get the following collectibles:

  • Diamond Loot Chest Replica with functional retractable lid.
  • Ten 3-inch tall “Borderlands 3” character figurines including the four Vault Hunters and Calypso Twins.
  • Sanctuary 3 snap model ship and stand.
  • Four Vault Key keychains.
  • Cloth galaxy map.
  • Five character art lithographs of the Vault Hunters and Calypso Twins.
  • “Borderlands 3” Steelbook case.

These special editions often go in and out of stock and sometimes sell out ahead of launch. The bundle is currently unavailable at GameStop with no word on when it'll return.

If it does sell out, and you want it ASAP, you might have to pay more than $250 through a reseller like Craigslist or eBay. To avoid this, think about putting in a pre-order and snagging it for face value.

If you're interested in buying the bundle ahead of the release date, you can track GameStop's stock.
