We've been using the iPhone 8's iOS 11.2.5 update for an extended period of time and we've spoken to several iPhone 8 users who've been using the software since its release earlier this month. So far, the update is treating us all well. 

We haven't run into any battery life problems and the iPhone 8 users we've spoken to say they continue to get superb battery life out of the device.
