iPhone 8 iOS 13.1.2 Impressions & Performance
We've been testing the software on the iPhone 8 for several days now and performance has been pretty solid in key areas like speed and battery life.
iOS 13.1.2 is extremely fast on our iPhone 8. We haven't noticed much sluggishness. Animations and transitions are crisp and problem areas like Notifications, Control Center, and the keyboard haven't been problems for us yet. They've all been smooth thus far.
Battery life is holding up at this point and we haven't noticed any abnormal drain in the early going. That could change and we'll let you know if it does.
Connectivity (Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth) is currently stable and we haven't noticed any issues with our core applications (Chrome, Gmail, Slack, Asana, Netflix, Dark Sky, and many others) yet.
Developers are rolling out iOS 13 support updates so if you're noticing issues with your apps, make sure you download the latest updates.
We haven't run into any debilitating bugs yet so we're recommending iOS 13.1.2 to most iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users.
