Your Amazon Echo, Kindle library and Audible library all work together.

Log into Audible and buy an audiobook using the same Amazon Account that you use for your Amazon Echo. Next, open the Alexa app and select Music, Videos and Books from the menu. Finally, use the on-screen prompts to start listening to your books.

If you don’t have any audiobooks, Alexa can also read books that you’ve purchased from the Kindle Store. To see a list of titles that the personal assistant can read, go to the Music, Videos and Books area and select Kindle. Unfortunately, Alexa can’t read comic books and periodicals from Kindle.
