Notification channels might sound confusing, but they're really not. With Oreo, you can long press a notification and create a new category for that specific notification. Then, the next time you have more than one notification that fits that specific category, they'll bundle together. Essentially giving us an easier time checking notifications, and gives us more information at a glance.

I’ve noticed that after upgrading to 8.0,my music now stops completely when I make or receive calls. The play icon disappears from the pull down bar and I have to open the play music app to resume play.
