With Android O's new smart text selection everything happens for you. Again, it's smarter and faster. Double tap the text area and Oreo will recognize addresses, phone numbers or other important text and instantly highlight it for you. 

Furthermore, if there's a phone number instead of copying it to paste into the dialer, there's actually a button to instantly call that number. Right from the pop-up above the text. This works for addresses in Google Maps, and much more. Basically making everything easier on users.
