So what's next for your phone, tablet, or Android? That's the upcoming Android 9.0 "P" update Google released as a developer preview earlier this year. While Android 8.0 Oreo is nice, the Android 9 P update has even more exciting changes. We're not sure if it'll be Android 9.0 Popsicle, Pancake, Pistachio, or something else, but we do know it's almost here. We're currently on the Android P Developer Preview 4 (beta 3) with a fifth and final preview coming soon. Then, Google will release Android 9.0 P sometime in August for millions of devices. The first phones will be the Google Pixel, Pixel 2, OnePlus 6, Essential Phone, Nokia devices and a few others from the beta program. Then, expect manufacturers like Samsung, Motorola, HTC and LG to slowly start working on it. Basically, unless you have one of a select few devices, you likely won't see Android 9.0 P until early 2019. So, carefully read over this post as you'll be using Android 8.0 Oreo for the foreseeable future. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

I’ve noticed that after upgrading to 8.0,my music now stops completely when I make or receive calls. The play icon disappears from the pull down bar and I have to open the play music app to resume play.
