The Surface Go runs Windows 10 S, but you can upgrade to full Windows 10 if you want to run apps outside of the Windows Store. 

One of the big reasons to get this is that it is a smaller device that is more portable. You can slide this into a purse or a bag easier than the full-size Surface Pro.
