Lenovo Miix 510
You get almost all the Surface Pro's features without the high cost when you buy the Lenovo Miix 510 for $660.
This reasonably priced Surface Pro 6 alternative has Intel Core i3 processors. Thanks to a full-size USB 3.0 port and a USB Type-C Port, you get more ways to connect keyboards, cameras and printers with this Windows 2-in-1. The Miix 520 has a headset jack, a MicroSD card reader and Bluetooth 4.1.
Each Lenovo Miix 510 comes you the accessory you need most: a keyboard cover. That's the same accessory that Microsoft charges $129.99 for. However, expect to pay extra to get a digital pen because Lenovo's bundles don't include them.
You give up some features to get the extra processing power, port and free keyboard. The Lenovo Miix 510 lasts just 7.5 hours compared to the Surface Pro 6's 13.5 hours of battery life. Also, the cameras in the Miix 510 aren’t as good as the Surface Pro 6’s cameras. Its front-facing camera has just a 2-megapixel sensor. The rear camera is 5-megapixels, which is barely enough to get you a mildly decent photo. Compare that to the 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and the 8-megapixel rear-facing camera of the Surface Pro 6. Neither camera lets you sign into your PC without using your password.
Finally, the Miix 510’s 12.2-inch 1,920 x 1,200 FHD display isn’t as sharp as the Surface Pro 6’s 12.3-inch 2,736 x 1,824 display. If you spend lots of time watching movies, you may want the extra detail the Surface Pro 6's display offers.
