Lenovo Miix 720
The new Lenovo Miix 720 is a Surface Pro alternative for buyers that aren't impressed with the more affordable Lenovo Miix 510. It costs $1,249.99 and has some key upgrades.
Because of its upgrades, the Lenovo Miix 720 is Lenovo's most direct alternative to Surface Pro. The Miix 720 has a Thunderbolt 3 port that will move your files to a compatible hard drive 8 times as faster than a regular USB 3.0 port. This same port allows the device to connect to two external monitors, giving you more space to work on. There's a headset jack, MicroSD Card Reader, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera and a front-facing camera that unlocks Windows 10 when you gaze into it.
The Miix 720's 12-inch 2,880 x 1,920-inch display is as sharp as the Surface Pro 6's display and sharper than the Miix 510's display. On top of that, this Windows 10 2-in-1 includes Intel's 7th Generation Core i7-75000U processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of solid-state storage. That's a lot of mobile computing power. Expect 8 hours of battery life.
The Lenovo Miix 720 includes backlit keyboard cover that protects the screen and lets you stay productive when you extend its built-in kickstand. A keyboard cover costs Surface Pro buyers an extra $129.99.
