If you're coming from an old Galaxy Note 5 or even the Galaxy S7 Edge, you'll love Samsung's new Galaxy Note 9. 

During the announcement up on stage they mentioned 4-way audio, whatever that means. What we do know, is that this phone features TWO big, loud, quality stereo speakers. 

The speaker on the bottom is louder than any previous Samsung device. Then, the earpiece is a speaker too. This gives you multi-directional and forward facing stereo sound. Not mono sound you can easily cover with your hand while you're using and holding the phone. 

The Galaxy S9 was 1.4x louder than the Galaxy S8, and the Note 9 is reportedly even better.
