Samsung Galaxy S7: 3 Reasons to Buy & 4 Reasons to Wait
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are still excellent phones, but you should think about waiting a few days, weeks, or maybe even a few more months before committing.
Samsung’s flagships from 2016 aren’t getting any younger, but they’re still viable options for those looking for a solid experience at an affordable price.
Now that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ reign as Samsung’s flagships, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge prices have dropped in the United States and regions around the world. The devices should also get bumped from Android Nougat to Android 8.0 Oreo later this year.
There’s a lot to like about the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and the rugged Galaxy S7 Active and they’re probably pretty tempting if you’re looking for a new phone.
While tempting, some of you might be better off waiting to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, or the Galaxy S7 Active. For one, Samsung is rumored to have a new flagship up its sleeve for early 2018 and it might be worth holding out for those announcements to arrive.
With all of that in mind, allow us to walk you through some reasons to buy the Galaxy S7 and some reasons to think about waiting. If you can.
