There are few other potential Samsung Experience UI upgrades that could make it over to the Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge including improvements to Always On Display.

The Galaxy S8 Oreo update includes a ton of new customization options that should excite those of you who enjoy changing the appearance of your software. 

We don't know if all, some, or none of these will make it into the Galaxy S7's version of Oreo, but here's the potential list of changes:

• Custom colored folders that allow you to take control of how your folders look on the screen and help you stay organized in the process. 
• The lock screen clock will change color to match the wallpaper you’re using. 
• New clock styles for the device's Always-On Display. 
• New Edge lighting effects including a multi-color effect, a glow effect that makes the edges glow, and a glitter effect.
