If you really, really want an iPhone X on November 3rd it might be a good idea to queue up the pre-order process on a couple of devices.
If you can, have your phone and another device handy once the countdown to 12:01AM begins. Maybe that's your MacBook, maybe it's an iPad. Whatever the case, it's smart to have another device available in case something goes wrong. You might have both sites open to Apple's website or maybe you have one with Apple and one on your carrier website just to be safe. The choice is yours. It also might be a good idea to have one device connected to Wi-Fi and another connected to your wireless carrier.
