New Madden 17 Physics

The football in Madden 17 is now on the same plane as the players when it comes to Madden 17 physics. Tackles got better last year, but there were a lot of times where the ball came right through a player's arm or leg.

With Madden 17 physics the ball is treated like a player. If the ball comes into contact with body parts of an opponent the ball will react and may be knocked out. That means no more of the ball snapping instantly in for the catch.

That means more dropped passes in high-traffic areas and using a possession or run-after-catch type catch is more important than ever.

New ball physics will also make onside kicks more worth pursuing thanks to the unkonw way the ball will react.

Fumbles are naother area where the game gets an upgrade with new animations and smarter reactions to lose balls.

If your QB is hit while thowing the ball, the ball may now become a fumble or a strip sack, depening on how the timing and ball physics.

We will also see new animations and players that are better able to track the ball and react to tips and fumbles with knee, ankle and sliding catches.
