If you aren't stuck to an operating system you might want to hold out for another set of phones coming in 2017. Apple's rumored to have not one, not two, but three new iPhones planned for 2017. We could see the company deliver an iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and a new iPhone 8 on top of those releases. If rumors are accurate, the iPhone 8 could be the most interesting iPhone Apple's released in years. It could also be extremely expensive. iPhone 8 or not the next iPhone launch will provide you with a few more options and it should help to drive down iPhone prices across the board as retailers look to offload their inventory. | |||||||

Bootloop issue alone should be enough reason to avoid the 5X at this point. Otherwise it is indeed a pretty great phone… but if you need to rely on it, I’d avoid it. If you’re gonna buy a used 5X, make sure you get all the info so you can send it back to LG when it stops working. I’m on my 3rd replacement myself.
