The AirPods are one of the best iPhone accessories that you can buy, but they might be getting better in just two weeks. 

Apple is reportedly working on AirPods 2 with new features for late 2018 or for 2019. Signs pointed to a release in the fall with the iPhone, but that didn't happen and Apple stopped talking about AirPower. 

We still expect to see Apple deliver a wireless charging case for the AirPods. This will be sold as an accessory, but it would make sense to see it included as a standard feature with AirPods 2.
