Samsung Galaxy Android Oreo: 5 Things to Expect & 3 Things Not To
Expect the Galaxy S9 to Run Android Oreo

It might not be the first Galaxy device to Android 8.0 Oreo but you can bet on next year's Galaxy S running the operating system right out of the gates. The Samsung Galaxy S9 rumor mill is starting to pickup speed as we push toward the end of the year. And while nothing is confirmed, it looks like the device will run Android 8.0 Oreo straight away. The move wouldn't be surprising. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ both ran Android Nougat out of the box and it would be strange to see a flagship from 2018 running an operating system that was first released all the way back in August of 2016. We expect Android Oreo and a new version of the Samsung Experience UI to be two of the the company's selling points next year. Keep an eye out for Galaxy S9 rumors and benchmarks as we head into the fall. We should see its software leak well in advance.
