Decide How to Download the Update

If Samsung deploys a Galaxy Note 5 Oreo update it'll take awhile to hit everyone.

Samsung's Android roll outs can take months to complete and Galaxy users often grow impatient. If you're the impatient type, you might want to sideload Oreo.

We expect Samsung's official Galaxy Note 5 Oreo firmware to emerge soon after the roll out begins. This firmware will let save some time and skip the Over-the-Air (OTA) roll out.
