Be Proactive About Fixing Nougat Problems

The Android Oreo update will fix some of the Nougat problems plaguing Galaxy devices. It won't fix them all though and once again, there's no guarantee the Note 5 will get the update so you need to be proactive if and when you encounter an issue with Nougat.

If Samsung or your carrier pushes a new update, dig into feedback and install it if you think it'll help. If you're feeling leery about a new update, set out and fix the problem yourself.

To assist you, we've put together a lengthy list of manual fixes that could help you fix your problem(s) long before Samsung rolls out the next update to your Galaxy Note 5.

That's just one of many resources out there so please don't sit around waiting for Oreo to fix your problems. There's a good chance you'll be waiting around for awhile.
