10 Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Oreo Release Date Tips

When & Where to Check for Android 8.0 Oreo

When & Where to Check for Android 8.0 Oreo

Samsung hasn't confirmed an official release date for the Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo update and we probably won't get one for a few more weeks.

It's extremely difficult to predict when you might see your update arrive because Samsung's roll outs vary year-to-year.

Unlike Apple's iOS roll outs, Samsung's releases take place over several weeks as it, and its carrier partners, work through kinks. There will be many different release dates so you'll need to keep your eyes wide open once the roll out process begins.

Again, we expect it to start sometime after the Galaxy S8 beta concludes on January 17th. Samsung says it hopes to push the official Galaxy S8 Oreo update sometime in January though an official release date is out of reach.

Once the Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo update starts rolling out, you'll want to occasionally check for the Oreo update via your device's Settings.

You'll also want to keep tabs on the Android update schedules carriers like Rogers Canada release because they'll alert you to potential release dates and release windows.
