Don't Wait If You Want 5G, or a Big Phone

While 5G is still brand new, and in its infancy, things are moving at a pretty fast pace. If If you're someone who enjoys the cutting edge and want your next phone to have 5G, you might want to reconsider waiting for the Pixel 4a.

We're hearing almost all of Samsung's Galaxy S11 models in March will have 5G built-in, not just 5G versions for more money, so it's plausible that Google's Pixel 4a will get it too. However, being a budget phone that's something they could easily leave out in an effort to make the phone more affordable. Not to mention Google seems fine with being last to new technology lately, at least when it comes to smartphones.

Honestly, if you want a Pixel and 5G technology you'll probably need to wait for the Pixel 5 in September or October of 2020.

Then, if you want a big phone on a budget, you might not want to wait for the Pixel 4a XL. That's because veteran YouTuber a popular tech guy DaveD2 recently released a video stating Google will NOT offer a 4a XL this year, and only the smaller 5.8-inch Pixel 4a. He's not one that typically leaks big news, and is more of a reviewer, but if this pans out it'll be a big switch from the tradition by Google. You've been warned.
