Weapons & Star Cards
In EA's Bespin announcement, it revealed two brand new weapons that will be included in the Bespin DLC release.
The DLC includes a brand new X-8 Night Sniper and an EE-4 blaster. The company recently went into detail about these weapons and you can get a feel for their strengths right here. The developer also offers some tips to those that want to give them a go.
The sniper blaster will, of course, be aimed at those who like to engage in long range combat while the other weapon will be geared toward those who like to get up close and personal.
Bespin also delivers new Star Cards including Scout Binoculars, Shock Grenade, and a disruption wave appropriately called Disruption. EA outlines them in detail here.
In addition, the company's made some tweaks to the current batch of weapons and Star Cards in Battlefront. Here's the full list of changes to these items:
- Charges: Players will be able to deactivate charges by holding down the Y/Triangle button on console and 2 on PC. Once this is done the effect will be removed and the charge will instantly enter a cool down state.
- Bowcaster: The fire pattern has been altered. The following pattern will be used when charging the weapon:
- Center projectile
- Pulse Cannon: A laser glint has been added so players that are being targeted by the pulse cannon will be able to see a green laser on their screen thus revealing the location of the attacker.
