Apple's next iOS 11 update will be iOS 11.4.1.

The iPhone 7's iOS 11.4.1 update is currently in beta testing ahead of an unknown release date. iOS updates typically stay in beta testing for several weeks so we don't expect iOS 11.4.1 to emerge until late June or July.

For more on iOS 11.4.1, take a look at our full roundup.

Apple's also working on a new iOS 12 update and the final version will arrive this fall alongside a new iPad and new iPhones.

The company typically releases a beta shortly after the conclusion of the keynote so we could see the first version of iOS 12 arrive on Monday.

If you don't want to wait for September you don't have to. You can try the update on your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus right now via the iOS 12 beta.

The iOS 12 beta includes a long list of changes including upgrades to Notifications, the Photos app, and Do Not Disturb. We expect Apple to bring more changes to the operating system in future iOS 12 betas.

Good to get 3D touch app switcher back in the iOS 11.1. New emoji sets are good. The fluid wallpapers are so sleek I love the designs. And most important Apple Team has fixed KRACK WiFi vulnerability which was most important thing in this update. Overall I am really enjoying iOS 11 so far. Thanks for writing Adam really enjoyed your article.

I have an iPhone 7 plus. my battery is draining at an alarming rate. I have lag when typing and answering phone calls. It’s like the iPhone 6 touch disease sometimes when answering phone calls. Biggest complaint in the battery drain.
