The November Android 8.0 Oreo build is focused on shoring up security. Google's security bulletin runs down a long list of patches for the Nexus 5X and other Nexus and Pixel devices and it's worth a look if you're curious about the contents of this update. The OTA says the update also fixes bugs and improves performance. We haven't noticed any immediate differences between this build and the last one, but we'll continue digging and let you know what we find. It's worth noting that Google's November build comes with bug fixes for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and the Pixel 2 XL. As for Android 8.0 itself, it delivers brand new emoji characters for its keyboard (some of which you can see here), improvements to Notifications, security features, Picture-in-Picture, improved boot speeds, a wide-gamut color for apps, Autofill, and so much more.
