There's also a chance it could have a negative effect on your Nexus 6P's performance. If you're having an excellent experience on Android 8.0, you might want to wait for more Android 8.1 feedback to emerge before making your move. 

Now that we're a few days removed from the release we're hearing about the Android 8.1 problems plaguing the Nexus 6P. Some of these issues have carried over from the previous version, some are new.

Nexus 6P owners are complaining about a variety of problems including severe battery drain, random reboots, issues with Bluetooth, and more.

You'll want to dig into these problems before you download Android 8.1 on your phone. At the very least, you'll want to wait until you're prepared to face Android Oreo problems
