Wait for Faster Storage

The Galaxy S20's UFS 3.0 storage will soon be surpassed by another standard.

Samsung has started making the industry's first 512GB UFS 3.1 chip. According to the company, the 512GB eUFS 3.1 processes up to 60 percent faster than UFS 3.0. Random read and write speeds are apparently up to 60% faster.

What this means is that we'll soon see quicker transfers of the high-definition videos and photos shot with smartphone cameras.

Samsung says in addition to the 512GB option, the company will also have 256GB and 128GB capacities available for flagship smartphones that will be launched later this year.

So while it doesn't call it out by name, there's a good chance this technology appears on board the Galaxy Note 20.
