Install Android 10 for Improved Biometrics

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 Android 10 update comes with some improvements to biometrics.

The update's change log notes that the software adds options for showing the fingerprint icon when the screen is off.

With Android 10 on board, you can choose to show it whenever you tap or keep it visible when the Always On Display is shown.

Android 10/One UI 2.0 also bring a few other notable features including the ability to add an alternative look. This is a big addition for those who change their appearance from time-to-time.

So let's say you setup your face recognition when you were clean shaven with short hair. However, over time, you decide to let your hair and facial hair grow out.

If you setup an alternative look on your Galaxy Note 10, you'll now be able to unlock your phone using both of these looks.
