Honestly, we wouldn't recommend anyone download and install Android P on their main device that gets used daily. However, if you're not too worried about that, but are dealing with a lot of problems with Oreo, give it a try.

Screens are staying on while charging, Bluetooth is unstable, random crashes or freezing and reboots are a popular subject too. Basically, a lot of small problems still remain, and Google fixed some of them in Android P. As a result, some users may get a better experience from the beta over Oreo.

We can't guarantee Android P will fix all bugs from Oreo, but it is the latest software for the Google Pixel. Google improved the fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, and a lot of other things. Expect improvements in most areas and new bugs at the same time. Some of the hundred+ bug fixes could solve your problem after you install Android P. You never know.

Either way, give it a try and see if some of your problems disappear.
