5 Reasons to Wait for the iPad Air 4 & 3 Reasons Not To
Wait for Potential Magic Keyboard Support
If you plan on using your next iPad to get work done, or if you just prefer using a keyboard with your iPad, you might want to wait. A curious rumor from a reliable Twitter account called L0vetodream hints at potential Apple Magic Keyboard support for iPads that fall outside the iPad Pro family. The leaker doesn't call out the iPad Air 4 by name, but given that rumors point to an iPad Pro-like experience, there's a chance support comes to the iPad Air line. The MyDrivers report states that the iPad Air 4 design will have a smart connector on the rear to support the new Magic Keyboard. As of right now, the Magic Keyboard only supports the 2020 iPad Pro models. It also features backwards compatibility with the 2018 iPad Pros, the 3rd-generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch, and the 1st-gen iPad Pro 11-inch.
