8 Best Galaxy S8+ Screen Protectors

Samsung’s Galaxy S8+ has a big display with curved edges, so screen protection is extremely important. This buying guide will explain what types of screen protectors work best. Then, we’ll share a list of the best Galaxy S8+ screen protectors that will keep your screen safe.

These phones are already durable thanks to the scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 5 Samsung is using, but many owners will find that daily wear and tear can still crack or scratch the glass. So while it’s durable, it’s far from scratch proof. Even if you use a case we still recommend getting a good Galaxy S8+ screen protector.

You’ll need to spend about $50 to get a high-end tempered glass screen protector from trusted brands like ZAGG. However, that isn’t the only option. Another route is cheap adhesive films that come in a 2-pack for under $9, which is cheaper than the $250 it will cost to repair a broken screen.

Spending a few dollars on the cheapest screen protector will get the job done, but you should buy a higher-quality one if you can afford it. The more expensive Galaxy S8+ screen protectors curve with the display and are generally made from the same reinforced glass that comes with the phone. Tempered glass is more scratch resistant.

Keep in mind that they won’t completely protect your S8 from everything, but a screen protector will keep phones safe from life’s daily hazards. Saving a few bucks isn’t worth the risk of ruining your $800 smartphone.

SuperShieldz 3D Glass for Galaxy S8+

Supershieldz is one of the first on our list because they offer a slew of different products design to protect our smartphones. From regular film screen protectors, matte or privacy glass, to real glass screen protectors. Here we'll be suggesting the latter of the three.

Supershieldz uses a tempered, strengthened and reinforced glass just like what comes on the Galaxy S8+ out of the box. Meaning it won't scratch or damage easily. The company uses a 3D technology to round the edges and prevent chips or a case causing the protector to come off during use.

The product listing promises a scratch-free, fingerprint-free, and bubble-free experience with their product.

It has a color-matched black framing to make the protection look invisible on your device, and an easy to apply adhesive that won't bubble or leave residue if removed. Supershieldz also offers a hassle-free lifetime replacement program. If it gets scratched or breaks, they'll replace it no questions asked. Try one of these today, it's what I have on my Galaxy S7 Edge and Google Pixel XL.

On all the glass screen protectors, are they only held on at the top and bottom? Had one on my belated note 7 and had to rip it off because dust could easily get behind it and scratch or interfer with the screen. I don’t want to waste money on them if they aren’t going to do the job I’m paying for them to do.

I prefer TPU than a TGP. I have used the gadgetshield protector on my s7 edge. It is the perfect one to cover the edges of the device. This time also got one from them fro my Galaxy s8 plus.

I purchased the Tech21 Impact Glass after reading your article. It is not glass. It is similar to the material use in bullet resistant glass in between the layers of glass. I have now ordered the Lightning Knight Tempered Glass 2 pack.
