You can save $100 with the best iPhone XR deals that don’t require you to jump through any hoops. You can also save up to $750 when you are willing to add a new line or switch carriers. These are the best iPhone XR deals you can find in October and will be the best you see into Black Friday 2018.
If you switch to U.S. Cellular you can save $600 on the iPhone XR. If you add a new line and buy two iPhone XR devices at Verizon the second one is free up to $750 and if you go to Sprint you can get an iPhone XR for $0 a month when you trade-in a eligible phone and choose the Sprint Flex Lease.
Best iPhone XR Deals
The iPhone XR starts at $749 or about $25 to $31 a month on payment plans for the 64GB version. All the iPhone XR deals require you to sign up for the payment plans, which are basically the new version of contracts. When you choose a payment plan at any of these carriers and get a deal, the savings apply to your bill for the next year or two.
We should see some more iPhone XR deals during Black Friday, but you’ll likely need to go into the store and contend with crowds and lines to get those deals. So weigh any further savings against your time on Thanksgiving Day.
$100 Off the iPhone XR at Walmart
If you pre-order the iPhone XR at Walmart.com for in store pickup you save $100 when you activate with an installment agreement. This is available on Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Walmart recommends calling your local store to see if this is available. You will still need to order online for in store pickup to save.
You don’t need to switch carriers, trade-in an old phone or add a new line to save, which are all catches with most of the deals.
Switch to U.S. Cellular and Save $600
If you switch to U.S. Cellular, you can save $600 on the iPhone XR. the savings are split up over the next 30 months with a $20 bill credit. This is a major deal if you are fine with switching carriers and sticking with U.S. Cellular for 30 months. It also means you are keeping the iPhone XR for 30 months to get the deal.
This isn’t the best iPhone XR deal overall, but if you are looking to switch carriers anyway, it might be a good fit.
Buy One Get One at Verizon
If you buy an iPhone XR at Verizon you get one free if you add a new line to your plan. The iPhone XR is $749 for the base model, which is how much you’ll save on the second iPhone. If you need more storage, you’ll just save $750.
You don’t need to switch carriers or trade-in, but you will need to add a new line to your account and you will get the savings over 24 months with bill credits.
Buy One Get One at AT&T
If you buy an iPhone XR at AT&T you get one for $700 off if you add a new line to your plan. The iPhone XR is $749 for the base model, so you pay $50 for the iPhone XR with this deal.
You don’t need to switch carriers or trade-in, but you will need to add a new line to your account and you will get the savings over 24 months with bill credits. That means you need to pay using AT&T Next. You also need to be a DirecTV subscriber of at least $29.99 a month.
iPhone XR for $0 a Month at Sprint
If you are a Sprint customer, you can get the iPhone XR at Sprint for $0 per month when you trade in a old phone and choose the Sprint Flex Lease. You’ll need one of these devices for this deal to work;
- Eligible trade-ins for new lines of service include iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8+, iPhone 7, iPhone 7+, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy S9+, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG G7 ThinQ, Google Pixel, Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL.

Beware of the $390 on the iPhone XR at T-Mobile
When you buy the iPhone XR at T-Mobile with a payment plan and trade in an eligible device you can save up to $390 with bill credits over the next 36 months. That’s less than with U.S. Cellular, but you are locked into T-Mobile and the iPhone XR for three years. You can leave early or upgrade early, but you have to buy out your iPhone XR or give up the bill credits.
Here’s what you need to trade-in to get this iPhone XR deal.
