New Messages Features in iOS 13

Messages in iOS 13 now offer a few key upgrades that will allow you to do more than you could in iOS 12. Search is improved to help you find the information you are looking for with highlighting of search terms and you can search inside specific conversations. 

The details pane will now offer up better access to locations and attachments so that you can find what you are looking for faster. 

Another major feature is choosing to share your name and photo. When you do this, you can automatically share a profile photo and your name with someone using an iPhone. You can do this with contacts, everyone or opt out. 

On iOS 12 you can do some of these things, but iOS 13 makes it easier to do.
